Below is an account from Barry Neal, MWW Group Office Manager, on how he took advantage of the eight paid hours MWW Group offers employees to participate in a volunteer project.

The New Jersey Food Bank relies on volunteers to help continue their mission of fighting hunger and poverty throughout New Jersey; distributing food to more than 900,000 low-income members of the community. I have been volunteering at the food bank with members of my motorcycle club for several years and have a great sense of pride in our volunteer efforts.
As volunteers, we attend special events at the food bank to learn more of what we can do to help the communities in which we live. Our efforts include, sorting food, collecting food and monetary donations at food drives, concerts, sporting events and their annual November Turkey Drive. In 2010, we were able to raise 4,300 lbs of food and $4,200 dollars in donations in that one day.
I have donated my time on numerous occasions as it is a selfless act and can bring so much to another person. Along with my club, we have dedicated ourselves to giving back to our communities every chance that we get. It’s a great feeling to give back and play a role in helping others less fortunate than us, making a difference is what counts!
