Every president since Franklin D. Roosevelt has been measured by his accomplishments during the first 100 days in office. The inauguration of President Barack Obama marked a period of hope and opportunity - a time for all of us to think about how we can help change our nation for the better.

In that spirit, MWW Group asked the public two questions: What Change Are You Ready For In The First 100 Days? What Can YOU Do to Bring About This Change?

Our goal in launching the '100 Words for 100 Days' initiative was to challenge America to think about how we can all make a positive difference. We received many great submissions, but two entries stood out for their creativity, originality and vision. We are please announce Ashoka as the winning organization and recipient of a three-month pro bono public relations campaign, valued at $30,000. Additionally, Mallory Goldberg has been selected as the winner in the individual category and recipient of a $5,000 three-month paid internship at any of MWW Group's ten offices.

Improve Infrastructure, Generate Jobs

Dear President-Elect Obama,

This is the Seven Mile Bridge down in the Florida Keys and I am writing to you as the official representative of The United States’ infrastructure. After many talks with our regional representatives, including my good friend the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, we have concluded that your economic recovery plan needs to address infrastructure within your first 100 days in office. Our backs are cracking, our legs are growing weak, and I personally feel like I may crumble. We are ready for this change! We look forward to the stimulus in jobs that this will create for the American people. My friends, the bridges, tunnels and roadways, are eager for our “makeovers” to begin.

Sincerely, The Seven Mile Bridge
