Melissa Vigue Joins Agency’s Growing Leadership Team
NEW YORK, NY – MWWPR today announced that Melissa Vigue has joined the firm as Chief of Staff, reporting directly to CEO Michael W. Kempner.
With more than 17 years of industry experience, Vigue will work closely with MWWPR’s fully integrated management team to drive a high performing culture as well as service and operational excellence and growth.
In this role, she will bring her prior agency expertise to bear; supporting strategic business planning, leading the agency’s communications strategy, and driving interoffice integration and services, ultimately ensuring that the agency’s vision and mission are fulfilled internally and externally.
“Melissa brings a unique set of expertise in that she is a very experienced communicator and account leader with an eye for efficiency when it comes to the inner workings of an agency,” said Kempner. “Her category experience which spans food/beverage, retail, beauty, and home goods, paired with her agency operations experience and passion for client service will be an asset in this role. We look forward to Melissa bringing her strategic solutions and efficiency-oriented perspective to bear.”
Prior to joining MWWPR, Vigue spent more than 13 years at Peppercomm, specializing in building integrated communications strategies for consumer lifestyle brands including Whirlpool, TGI Fridays and TJMaxx and Marshalls, among others. Her responsibilities included overall account strategy, brand positioning and issues and crisis management, as well as providing counsel to B2B organizations in the technology, retail, healthcare and cybersecurity sectors.
In addition to account leadership and service, staff development, and agency marketing and branding, she was integral to the development of the agency’s new business process. Prior to that, Vigue managed events, media strategy and positioning at Four Corners Communications, and began her career at Bratskeir & Company.
