Former Lead of Bite’s New York Office Brings Key Enterprise, Mobile and B2B Experience to MWW’s Expanding Technology Industry Practice

NEW YORK – September 4, 2013 – MWW (www.mww.com), one of the top five independent public relations firms, announced today that Ryan Wallace has joined the firm’s technology industry practice as vice president, enterprise and technology. Wallace, who will be based in New York, brings more than a decade of B2B technology experience. He comes to MWW from Bite Global, where he led the New York office and oversaw global strategy for the firm’s clients including Plantronics, SAP and other enterprise and start-up brands.

MWW has been actively growing its enterprise and technology group with specific expansion into integrated programs that unite owned, earned and paid media. MWW currently represents such clients as Samsung Mobile Enterprise, ANCILE Solutions, NQ Mobile and Automic.

As part of his role within the enterprise and technology group, Wallace will help oversee the development and management of integrated communications programs that help boost brand relevance via a combination of paid, owned and earned strategies.

“Ryan’s ability to master new technologies allows him to quickly identify insights and craft strategies and content that increase brand relevance and directly engage the stakeholders who matter most,” said Ephraim Cohen, MWW’s executive vice president of media innovation and chair of the technology and digital content practice. “Ryan’s talent and understanding of the shifting media landscape is an asset that will benefit not only our technology clients but those across all practices.”

In his previous position with Bite Global, Wallace oversaw day-to-day and new business operations for the New York office and developed the company’s SAP account portfolio from preexisting Sybase work to include three of SAP’s main business units. Wallace’s work won him an award for “Best Use of Digital in a B2B Technology Campaign” from Bulldog Reporter. Prior to joining Bite, Wallace was responsible for development and implementation of integrated promotions and media campaigns that raised the profiles and brand images of several high profile clients including Citrix Online, Polycom and Sprint. He also credits his time at Kaplow working on eBay and Skype which provided him with a solid background in the B2B and Consumer Tech industries.

Wallace pursued a degree in Advertising at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
