Launching VitalSight, OMRON’s First Remote Patient Monitoring Service at CES
Challenge: OMRON Healthcare, the world’s number one blood pressure monitor brand, was preparing to launch its first remote patient monitoring service, VitalSight, a category where other competitors had a significant head start.
Approach:

- Developed a strategic position and message architecture that highlighted top differentiators, including ease-of-use, stronger patient-physician connection, and accuracy of OMRON technology
- Developed a plan to launch at CES and present the new service to top tech media from around the world – sending VitalSights kits for demos due to the virtual nature during COVID
- Secured virtual interviews and demo sessions with top tech writers who shape CES news and wrap-up reports
- Arranged for OMRON executives to participate in panel sessions
- Activated a LinkedIn paid campaign amplifying coverage from CES launch to top physicians and health systems nationwide
Impact:
- Secured stellar key message playback and prestige coverage from influential tech media, including CNET, Engadget, and Medgadget
- Won Best of CES from Engadget and GeekSpin and CNET’s Most Important Health Tech of CES
- Attracted attention and secured VitalSight pilot programs with top U.S. health systems, including Mount Sinai in New York and Northwestern in Chicago
